Apple finally launch the iPod Shuffle

At the Macworld Expo today, Apple introduced the iPod Shuffle, a mini iPod.

Using the near legendary shuffle feature of the iPod, the new iPod Shuffle is smaller and lighter than a pack of gum and is so light it can be worn around the neck.

As you'd expect, the iPod Shuffle works seamlessly with iTunes and uses an AutoFill feature to automatically selects songs from a user's music library to fill up the iPod Shuffle with just one click.

iPod Shuffle is the most affordable iPod ever made and is available in two models. The 512MB version can hold up to 120 songs and the 1GB model can hold 240. The prices are $99 and $149 respectively.

Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO said,

"iPod shuffle is smaller and lighter than a pack of gum and costs less than $100. With most flash-memory music players users must use tiny displays and complicated controls to find their music; with iPod shuffle you just relax and it serves up new combinations of your music every time you listen."

Both the iPod Shuffle models are available now.
