A piece of cult TV history is being made available for auction on eBay with the car, from the classic 80's TV series Knight Rider, known as K.I.T.T going on sale on Friday 30th July.
The car, which appeared on screen in the series second season, is a highly-modified 1983 Pontiac Trans Am and features a working front scanner (which is probably worth buying the car for!) and futuristic interior. Other features are:
• An in-car camera tied into one of the two dash-mounted LCD monitors
• A fully functional dash with pushable buttons, sound and visual effects
• External speakers so the front scanner can be heard while the scanner is running
Bidders have to be registered in order to have a chance at buying this collectable and the bidding will open at $40,000.
If you would like to be the envy of all your friends by pulling up outside their house with this, register at eBay, but expect some stiff opposition in the bidding from a d_hasslhoff, maybe.
